Fantastic farewell

My staff, other friends and colleagues have been amazing. Their support, affection, good wishes and kindness have made the last week the most special of my career. So many gifts and cards (too many to blip!), and people coming to my door with lovely wishes. This will stay with me for ever - thanks so much to everyone.

My leaving has not been straightforward. It's been a traumatic 10 months, with many meetings and negotiations, culminating with the final day in my post yesterday. It's time now to look at the positives - a better work/life balance, much less stress, time to blip! I'll have freedom for October, then back to some other work in November. I'm looking forward to this....!
