Black Jack, Mucky Ron and some old paintings

Went to Manchester Art Gallery today, mainly to see the Ron Mueck exhibition (which is amazing) but also to nosey round and see what else they have. I never realised how big it is there!

There was also a musician/guide called 'Black Jack Barnet' who carried out a musical, slightly comical, guided tour of some of the key painings they have hanging there. It was pretty good - certainly something different anyway.

Off soon to eat at Tampopo and then to see Avatar 3D at the IMAX in Manchester tonight.
