Autumnal sightings

Whitebeam berries bletting on the tree,
dead mens' fingers poking from a log,
birch boletus sampled by slugs,
a weeping polypore,
honeysuckle berries with a neon glow,
a single looped leaf,
a spinning spider,
mercury-flecked froth on the river.
