This fellow was sentenced to 2 years and 10 months in prison, but Mexican law allows you to avoid prison for certain crimes if you pay a punitive fine. The cost for Kirsty McColls life?

$90 to avoid prion and $2,150 in restitution to Kirsty's family. What an insult.

Going to be a real bore and work this weekend. Big reorganization at work with the merger of two parts of the organization into one. I've anticipated which part of the new organization my role will fit into and the leader for that role should be announced early next week. When it is, I want to be able to share with him/her concrete plans for my area, not just a bunch of ideas that are in my head.
