Tonight one of Miles old teachers came over for dinner with her family, including 4 month old Ruby. Miles put all his small toys away and put out big toys he thought Ruby would like, which included a firetruck, tractor and airplane. Miles helped her with tummy time and then we tried to get him to hold her and he was not having any of it.
When I told him teacher Jessie was coming over he screamed (happily) and asked, can she stay all night? Can she sleep in my bed? Then we had to wait on the front couch and look out the window and wait for her to show up. The pizza delivery guy showed up first and when he left Miles told me, "he's my best friend"
