Flag waiving

A meeting today of the Area Support Team Forum where representatives from across Scotland come together to discuss issues about the hearings system.

We had a powerful presentation from young people with Who Cares?Scotland telling us about their experiences of the system: what didn't work, what frustrated and annoyed them, and where help had arisen. While their message is crucial for the panel members who sit on the hearings, those of us involved in recruiting, training and supporting the panel also need to be aware of what we should be considering.

The meeting took place just off the Royal Mile which got me out of the office! After many days of still air the wind had picked as these flags showed.
