Penguins Stopped Play

I have suddenly realised that after 12hrs laying on the sofa watching golf I didn't get an opportunity to take a Blip. A television with a little white ball travelling 340 yrs onto a green carpet doesn't really work - I'm no photographer (clearly) but even I know that. So as an emergency at 22.54 with nothing to highlight from a great days golf it has to be one of my favourite books. I must have read this at least 20 times. It's a true story written by Harry Thompson titled 'Penguins Stopped Play'. Harry introduced & wrote 'Have I for news for you'. Anyway I won't tell you what happens - but it's a factual account of how he started a cricket team, a terrible cricket team, that went around the World playing other clubs in different continents and the difficulties and fun they experienced. Well I've pretty much told you the story but I can give you a little tip. There's a sad conclusion. It's a very good book but sadly there are no pictures... I'm a simple lad.
