Summit sunset

After a long hard week, it was time for the dog and I to set off for an evening stroll. Above the Albula pass are many spectacular peaks set within a dramatic landscape. We headed up one as fast as we could before the sun went down.
Amazing views in every direction meant a tough choice with the blip selection: I couldn't help taking LOTS of photos and stayed on the summit for quite some time as the colours of the sunset swept across the clouds and peaks.
On the way down we were lucky enough to see a chamois, my first sighting in this valley, but apart from that we had the whole place to ourselves. Just as we arrived back at the car all the colours had disappeared. What a perfect way to spend a Friday evening!
