Downpour

It's been a great day. First Church, then a light lunch, then a siesta (YES!) before heading out for a visa run for G at 4pm. We were not long on our way and still very much in Dubai when G commented about the clouds looking most definitely like rain clouds.

Lo and behold, a minute later; there were several large raindrops on my windscreen and then for about 10 minutes; we drove through a downpour!! G quickly got her camera out and started taking pictures; so this image is all credit to her. :)

Despite our delay because of the rain and the long queue we experienced at nearly every turn, we didn't get back too late. We DID eat at our favourite restaurant before coming home. And unfortunately, I have taken way too long to choose my image for today so racing to bed now. Thank you SO MUCH for stars and Favs for yesterday's blip which made it into Spotlight! Always special. :D
