Auld Engine

Saw this on my travels today. Looks like it's been sitting out in the elements for a while. A bit of a shame really, as I'm sure if it was restored it would be a good historic piece! Maybe that's the plan for whoever owns it?

I've been informed that this was built in 1975, and this exact engine was based at Ardrossan fire station, before then going on to the Fire Brigade
Training school in Glasgow. Not sure how it ended up in East Lothian, but maybe the Scottish Training School in Gullane had something to do with it?
