Drumderfit forestry car park. Suspect the loons have been at it again - interfering with various local road signs, as they have for too many years now. Was hoping that (presumably, and most likely) "he" would grow out of it. This one has been lurking here for at least a couple of weeks.
Feeling fairly rubbish. Tonsils more swollen, and now the nose is giving sure signs of a cold progressing through the system. Lacking energy all day. Cycling was a slow struggle, especially the hills on the return journey.
Really impressed with how malleable the low ISO shots from this camera are. Exposing for the brighter spot in the sky, not to be overexposed, left the rest distinctly underexposed. Boosting all the dark areas by over a stop was little problem. Though the experts would have much better balanced the colours, than the likes of me. Suspect with the (former) Fuji, that there was so much stuff going on with tweaking the files inside camera, that they weren't so 'user adjustable' at editing time. I'm not missing it.
Also took a B&W film shot here, as an experiment. Will be interested to see how it fairs, as the exposure was very different. As it was a negative, it was the opposite - exposing for the darker areas, and not worrying excessively about the brighter ones.
Fair old breeze on the Kessock Bridge tonight, and supposedly even more tomorrow. Had become too used to the calm days lately. Normal service has returned, and more layers will soon be required.
[Edit: Just noticed the Blip from a year ago was on a similar theme!]
