Big Angels and Little Angels

We are back home now after our wonderful few days in Yorkshire and Northumberland.

I have taken several photographs today but of only two subjects. The first was the Angel of the North as we passed by on our way out of Gateshead early this morning. I am always in awe of the size and majesty of this piece of artwork. I love it. (Igor blipped it too)

My second subject was my beautiful great niece, Ellie. I met her for the first time today and I know without any doubt that she would have been her Grandaddy's Little Angel if he had been alive to meet her.
