Castle Howard

A busy weekend planned supporting the Yorkshire Junior Orienteering Squad as the compete against other regions of the UK. It will be an early rise as we cross the Pennines to compete in the Lake District. I may not have access to the internet but will catch up when I can.

The afternoon was so mild I decided to enjoy a bike ride across the Vale of Pickering to the Howardian Hills a total of just over 50km with a number of climbs. Made a pit stop near Castle Howard (famed for Brideshead Revisited) to take the view of the house across the lake.
