Morning View

Even though I'd rather be on my pillow, there is something magical about early autumn mornings. I was hoping the clouds would take on some color, but not today.

This "morning moment" lead to a full and exhausting day. I taught two classes, and immediately following that had a lengthy phone conversation with the part-time instructor whose class I visited yesterday morning; the conversation was frustrating because we were both on cellphones and I would hear about every fourth word she spoke. She said she could hear me fine. Then I ate lunch quickly (thank you Mr. Fun for making me a lunch), then off to visit another classroom taught by a part-timer; then it was after 4:00 pm when I got back to my office to tidy and organize scads of paperwork, and then home, but first a quick stop through the grocery store to get some ingredients for dinner.

At home then, the two of us made taco salad. It was de-lesh! And soon into the evening I was nodding off. So early to bed.
