Fruits of Autumn
Walking along a bridle path, I spotted Black Bryony growing. It is fairly common in hedgerows in England and its pretty leaves wind themselves among the hedges . I think the berries look very attractive, almost good enough to eat. However, they are highly poisonous, so not fruits of autumn for us! I wonder if birds eat them, I am not sure.
