The lone skiier

Yes, some people are slightly mad and go out x-country skiing when it's -23 degrees. Having said that, it's a beautifully sunny day! My friend Cinzia and I decided to go out and enjoy it too. Our original plan was to go up the water tower close to where we live but we were 1 hour too early when we arrived, so we took a wander to the nearest lake and ventured across it! It got a bit dodgy near the middle, with some creaking sounds under foot so we stayed at the edge of the lake and waded through the snow! It was fun! We thought that no one would be out skiing in this weather, it's ideal at -5 degrees but today it's substantially colder! However we spotted this person skiing over the lake. Brr!
