Stairs

With both street lights out of commission, it is very dark at night in Houndsmoor. This is the view from the street through my living room window at the simple staircase I made a few years ago, which looks a bit harp-like with the white balusters. The finer 'strings' are the rivulets of lime dust and grit on the windowpane from Sean scraping back the pointing on the front wall. It is getting everywhere, even with doors and windows tightly closed. A bit spring clean is called for in a week or so - a bit like the one I did a fortnight ago! Still, job's a good'un and nearly done.
