Ryan Adams lets me take his photo

Having managed to get tickets to a sold-out gig & then get to the front standing a few feet from Ryan Adams, I thought it was Sod's law when the security guard shone his light our way & sternly warned us against taking photos. Ryan to the rescue though, he asked him to stop & I started snapping away with my duff iPhone lens.

Then he felt bad for the guard & tried to apologise with a made-up ditty, but the guard was either totally oblivious or didn't give a crap & just kept looking straight ahead like he wasn't being sung an apology by Ryan Adams. I think it was the former & he wasn't listening to the words at all. I wonder if he has figured it out yet. It was a great, memorable gig.
