Please Look After This....

.....Bear. There's been some nice chat about Paddington Bear recently. I'm a fan of Bond's stories of the little bear from darkest Peru, and he was the natural choice for Owen's first soft toy, bought within a couple of hours of Owen's birth by a highly emotional and sentimental Dad (me). The charming little sculpture of Paddington which sits at the foot of the escalator in The Lawn section of Paddington Station wasn't accessible for a blip this morning, but I'll snap him next time; here is a bridge over the tube track instead. It's all frightfully middle class, especially Michael Hordon's narration on the animated series, but what's there not to like about it?

Off to Newcastle with big Pedro tomorrow for Newcastle versus Preston North End. Pete is a huge PNE fan, so we'll be in the away support. Should prove an interesting day out.
