It Rained Today!

We were so lucky on our recent canal holiday that the only time it rained was through one or two of the nights. Today was the first day, for a long time, that I have felt the rain.

In between the two hospital visiting times today we got a much looked forward to trip to the garden centre. Not that we needed anything, just that it's a nice cheerful place to be and we love plants.

I liked the way the raindrops were hanging on the holly berries but thought the blip might not be very seasonal. How wrong I was. In the gift shop there were apologies for disruption to the displays. "They'll be making way for Christmas decorations." said The Man. "Don't be daft!" I replied but he was right, around the corner were shelves of Christmas cards.

The Mother continues to make good progress and now has both legs free from bandages, just a dressing on each foot.
