Succulent

When I was at my favourite plant nursery a while ago they had a seed tray of tiny plants labelled 'Mystery Agave - 50p each'. Well, who could resist? I plonked it in with a Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum' (which some little hopping so-and-so keeps trying to dig up) and some Delosperma nubigenum - not really expecting anything of it. But now it appears to be growing, which probably means that it will take over the entire planter in due course. Of course, if I'd given it a pot of its own it would probably have keeled over....
