The Ryder Cup..wishful thinking

It's the Ryder Cup starting tomorrow after today's opening ceremony (where thankfully all the speeches were pretty short). It "inspired " me to get my putter out and have a few putts on our hallway carpet. You can always dream.

I took this shot as my putter rested against the wall of our narrow hallway where we have no natural light, so I'm afraid my limitations as a photographer are pretty evident (although to be fair, I tried to get a shot very quickly).

Funny how, even as the years roll along, you never lose your capacity to dream. I'll bet I know every shot to play while watching the matches from the safety of my lounge tomorrow!
