Slippery little sucker?!

It had to be a quick blip today as I'm off to see mum and sis! We were going with mum to the dentist as she has to have some impressions ( no not the "just like that" Tommy Cooper type impressions ;-) so after a quick scout around the garden this little critter saved the day! I don't think it's a caterpillar, more likely some kind of a grub maybe? Anyhow I quite like it's attractive markings.....when I moved it onto the rose petal, I could feel it's suckers clinging to my fingers, surprisingly strong, and I'm pleased to say not at all slimy!
