Wild flowers at the roadside

I was driving along a dual carriageway today when the traffic brought me to a halt. I idly looked out of the window and saw in the gap between the roads this array of wild flowers growing untamed. The range of colours was just breathtaking. I had seconds to make my mind up. I wound down the window reached for my camera, realised I could not get it open in time so just took my iPhone out and took one pic. Then the cars whizzed away.

I would love to have got a better picture but I hope with the some cropping you can see some of the colours. Maybe I should return and see if I could get a better shot, trouble is it was a space not really accessible for walking.

Report done and off to the funders for their critique and feeling relaxed so I will work through my backlog soon!
