A Rose for Mr Addie

I helped conduct a funeral service today for the first time in my capacity of Lay Reader. It was the ceremony for a 91 year old gentleman of the congregation who had been in a home for a few years and whom my parents were helping to support.

There was a goodly collection of folks for this single man. The scouts were well represented as was the church congregation and I hope that the three nieces and sister in law could sense the love and esteem in which Bob was held.

This was one of the flowers for Bob.
