Derwentwater

Day set fair so I decided to go north to Thirlmere and Derwentwater as I don’t get there very often. Met a friend for lunch who was very chipper. It was good to catch up and hear her news.

Lovely day in the sun and I feel very privileged that I am free and able to do this some days.

Its 40 years ago since I first came to the Lakes and it is still my No 1 place.
