Fire Remains

About four years ago, I attended a house burn with the New Zealand National Fire Training Centre.

The day prior to the fire I was allowed inside the house to snap away, before the house was burnt to the ground.

One of the things I was allowed to take away with me, was a lovely old fashion pair of salt and pepper shakers. The tops were rusty and I removed them, cleaned the glass and now use them as bud vases.

At the moment they have dead flower heads in them, that look really effective folded over the lip of them.

I want to play with the catch light through them sometime, to see if I can get, circles of confusion.
