Sculpture

The sculptors hand stills,
Yet life remains in the clay,
And light gives it breath.


.... I wasn't planning to blip anything today .... having not actually been out of the office in daylight ..but the light on my Dad's sculpture of Sancho Panza was hard to resist.

I have blipped this sculpture before , so I won't repeat that write up.


This is why "art" is important ... it's a visceral contact with someone else's vision and imagination ... for me of course this is a contact with my Dad.

I think my favourite part of it is the hat .... it seems to sum up the character somehow ....
