The Corn Maze

We finally arrived at our hotel in Asheville at 11.30pm last night (having spent a few hours at my cousins house in Charlotte before the drive up).

Granny and Grandpa have already been in Asheville for several days now although they're staying in a different hotel, about 20 minutes drive away from ours. However Ethan was thrilled when they joined us for breakfast at our hotel this morning (although I wasn't so thrilled when Grandpa woke us up by phoning our room just after 8am)!

We decided to take Ethan to a Corn Maze today. As well as the mazes, he enjoyed playing in a cornpit (like a sandpit but filled with corn, as you can see in this photo), firing corn on the cob at pumpkin targets, whizzing down a slide, being pulled along by a tractor on the barrel bug ride and several more things. It was quite low key compared to Disney, but I think that's just what he needed today.
