The Sunny Veranda

This light-filled space is part of the study centre at Härnösand's library.  Anyone can use this space to meet and it's popular with students who can often be found grouped around one end of the long table, discussing, writing and consulting their various devices.
It's called The Veranda because it is an open space and it looks out over the first three floors of our beautiful library, Sambiblioteket. I feel privileged to work in this lovely building and it has featured in several of my blips, and will undoubtedly feature again.
Today is the Autumn equinox. At 02:29 this morning the northern hemisphere of the Earth started to tilt away from the sun.  Strangely enough the wonderful late summer weather we had been enjoying suddenly came to a halt and we awoke to frosty gardens and a chilly day, though we still enjoyed the sun.
