Thermal Fuse Pumpclip

This time of year for the last couple of years I have made a green hopped ale 0 using the fresh (green) hops growing in the garden. No food miles on those straight from the plant to the boiler, a distance of maybe a couple of metres. The last two years it was called Houblon Vert .

This year the bolier broke down in the middle of the one hour boil. Causing a very long brew day see The culprit in this case was not the flux capacitior but ther thermal fuse which had blown. The brew is named in its honour or should that be in its shame.

I racked it out secondary into the cornie so we can have proper brew fridge dispense for when Adam and mslouella visit at the weekend.
