Tarmachan Ridge, what a day, what an excellent day.

Sharp start, buzz up the road in K's car, a few minutes faff at the car, then off.  A stiffish hike to the ridge. Then all day in the sunshine. Blue skies, light breezes, the odd man (and his dog) to compare experiences with. Fresh powder snow. Squeaky fresh powder snow.  Crampons and ice-axe all the way.

Home made sandwiches, snow angels and bum slides.
