Club marítimo ( Yatch club)

Este es el Real Club Marítimo de Santander. Fue fundado en 1927. No fue el primero de la ciudad. Ese honor le corresponde al Real Club de Regatas de Santander fundado en 1870. El edificio que se puede ver en la foto fue saqueado e incendiado en 1932 como consecuencia de las revueltas previas a la Guerra Civil. En 1928 este club organizó la regata internacional Nueva York - Santander.

This is the Royal Yatch Club of Santander. It was founded in 1927. It wasn´t the first in the city. That honour belongs to Royal Races Club of Santander that was founded in 1870. The building that you can see in the photo was looted and fired in 1932 because of previous commotions to the Civil War. In 1928 this club had organized the international race New York - Santander
