Going up! Coming down!

The humungous image I did a couple of weeks ago was printed up on Monday and transported up to the Emley office.
Today it went up on the wall. More of that in a moment.

Am afraid this isn't an easy image to take in (I'll admit that in this instance I didn't take it!). But, it is part of my day, hence the blip.

There is still a great deal of finishing off in the refurb work going on, boxes everywhere. Ladders and workman. Bits and bobs.
Its only when you see the guy on the left in the high viz behind the ladder that you see quite how big this print is! It is somewhat bigger than I was originally told and planned for too. That was originally planned at 10m x 2m. It was actually printed at 12.4m x 3.3m - That is HUGE!!!

The final crop is a little different than I had planned when doing the take, but, life is full of compromises.

So, my challenge is, who has had one of their images printed bigger?

However, I got a message late in the day to say that things were not going well. The medium used simply wasn't fixing directly to the wall as was intended. It seems that it has some kind of memory and despite the efforts of the guys doing the installation, it was warping, bubbling and peeling. Having done several thousands of pounds worth of printing, it might just have to come down and be done some other way - Aghh!

Anyone want a vinyl print over 36m square? Only one careful owner.

I expect that if they sort out the problem there will be a full and proper reveal next week.

My next challenge - How big can you go?
