Found my long lens!!

I have been vaguely wondering where my long lens was, I hadn't seen it since our "holiday". Anyway, I thought carefully today instead of vague wondering and found it straight off. And now a whole new world of photography has opened up to me - standing in a fixed location at the kitchen door. (There is a nasty looking step into the garden that I have no interest in mastering on crutches).

And here are my roses, gone completely end of season crazy. I rang the gardening man today who has done various jobs over the last few years. I pleaded that my broken leg was the only reason the garden was a complete and utter tip and please could he and his rugby playing son come and make it lovely for the winter. Happily he agreed so hopefully by the time I can make it back into the garden it will be a nicer place to be.

And Daisy's teacher rang us to tell us what fantastic RE work she had done in class and for homework. Maybe she can be a nun or something......
