Pokesdown Station

Pokesdown Station is the most boring station in the history of boring stations. It has no lift, but a steep flight of stairs down which someone I knew fell rather horrifyingly. If you cannot manage the stairs the station staff are supposed to put you into a taxi free of charge and send you to Bournemouth Station. I'm not sure if anyone has tested that out, but the Pokesdown Community Forum (a very enterprising group) are planning to do just that. I await the outcome with interest. They are also, not surprisingly, campaigning for a lift to be installed.

The only thing in the station's favour are the rather nice murals.
