If Carlsberg Did Art Exhibitions in Edinburgh....
A day of two halves. Innit.
Morning spent doing it myself. A curtain rail, shelf below TV for games consol, and other shelves for jigsaws and board games, and finally a toilet seat fitted. Oh yes. The excitement. Actually, I think finally the room might be coming to a conclusion. Shelves need painted and then curtains sourced / hung. Some nets for cuddly toys and then... It'll be onto the living room.
Soup for lunch - my courgette and stilton which has been this summer's hot ticket. Then the cakes of yesterday; the choc / rasp was stupendous.
After the horrific calorific intake, out on the bikes; to Currie. For sloes. Sunny and fresh and probably just a little too far today.
But we reminisced and smiled (eventually) and found new Cigs tags; then sped homeward, with a tail wind and a downhill trajectory.
Sufficient sloes gathered for at least another bottle; possible a litre bottle? Which should probably be enough?
Stopped for yetanother look at Calum Colvin at Fountainbridge. Still seeing more and more every time I go.
And home; to a quiet evening in; cooking for tomorrow and tidying before the onslaught.
Low key but quiet smiles.
