Stazione Centrale Ceiling
I left Milan by train early this morning, and the fisheye once again came in handy. Usually when you travel around Europe, being by plane of by train, there is not a lot of exchange taking place between fellow passengers.
Today it was different, thanks to an Indian couple (Manish and wife), who started chatting to an Italian girl (Valeria) who was busy creating a photo album (hard copy…). Then another Indian couple joined in and the conversation was inspired by the pictures. Then it was surely my turn, and I introduced them to blip. They were totally fascinated by the idea, and Manish pulled out his Nikon DSLR and insisted upon taking a group photo. They all said that they would sign up for blip, so I’m just wanting…
Finally, and this is almost unheard of. The two Indian couples were leaving the train in Brigg, while our Italian friend and I continued towards Lausanne and Geneva. We said goody, and they went to the exit to get ready. Then just before the train departed again, Manish’s wife came rushing back and gave us a chocolate bar each. How nice! How unusual!
