After the rain

Finally we have had rain on Saltspring, almost the entire day. In the afternoon, it held up for a while, and my rain gauge showed 15 mm. I went out for a walk and managed to get some exercise and and some photos without being wet. This is a dahlia, one of my favourite fall flowers. Later on, the rain started again.
