The empty pond

I have gone to this wonderful pond for the last 4 years, observing all the fabulous wildlife that live here.
I thought I would go back one more time before the cold weather sets in to see who was left. I only saw a few ducks and one young blue heron. I am so happy that I have captured incredible pics of all the birds and mammals that live here. Hope they all make it back next spring, because I will be there to greet them!
