Tuesday. How did that happen?

So a busy weekend is over, (check out the back-blips if you like mountains) and I went back to work today.

A half day on Friday, and a Monday holiday and I come back to chaos and carnage. There have been e-mails volleying back and forth like wasps on a mission. Work left undone because essential questions were not asked before I left. Stuff mismatched and misidentified and stuff just plain missing. I spent the whole morning sorting one customer. I still have a whole list of stuff labeled 'Investigation required', and another labeled 'overdue'.

Luckily my manager is both sensible and stoical. I've told her it will get sorted and she believes me.

And it will...
