September the 23rd

Twenty-three of nine,
The day starts at the doctors;
Blood tests done for now

I say for now because the poor nurses had a heck of a job getting any blood out of me! The phlebotomist was called and still only got half of what was requested. I thought I was only going to be 5 minutes for one test but I guess my lovely doctor went through all my symptoms again and made a list of migraine alternatives. They wanted seven.

This made the whole treatment room run very late but the girls were very kind and none of the other patients tutted or rolled their eyes when I eventually came out!

I've got several holes in my arms and hands but only the left hand is still painful. I heard them say a vein had blown and as beneath one of the plasters got blacker it was easy to see which one!

Needless to say I was very pleased to come home to my favourite nurse who was very pleased I'd given her breakfast early before I left and we were very late to work indeed as I was a little woozy when I came out.

All done for now though :)
