Another s**t start to the day...

.. up at 8 am to shovel two pick-up loads of sheep manure left me both tired and smelly but looking forward to next year's vegetables.
Then it was down to Les Vans for some exciting stuff with the Notaire that I had better not talk about at present. Driving back I ended up looking at the scenery with new eyes as our Summer sojourn in the Ardeche reaches it inevitable conclusion.
It is a forty minute drive from Les Vans, the first half of which is climbing up to the plateau and then the second half is descending to our vslley and house. This image was taken from the road just after the start of our descent and our house is visible - albeit as a small dot. It is the break in the woods about two thirds of the way across from the left and one third up from the bottom. The valley you can see is "our" valley with all those local hotspots such at the Campsite.
