Diffused Light over Harden.
There was a lovely sky as I set off to the hairdressers this morning but of course there was no where to stop. As I reached Queensbury ( the highest part of Bradford ) it started to disappear as wispy low cloud blew across.
The sun has come and gone all day and it has been quite cool when the sun was absent. As I returned I stopped for this view. You can see the light filtering through the clouds right over the slight valley of our village. ( below the hills in the distance)
The village in the foreground is Wilsden. Higher than us which can mean it is above the valley mist or in the hill clouds when we aren't. They also get more snow than we do!
Behind our village you can see the trees of St Ives Estate on the hillside.
Technical rehearsal tonight for our play. That means a stressful night for Chris as Stage Manager but all will no doubt be well when we end up in the pub!
