Party in Pecol

Flew in to Venice, picked up our rental Fiat 500, and drove in the pouring rain to our apartment in Pecol. Not an auspicious start weather-wise, but then we stumbled on this party by the foot of the gondola, just a couple of hundred yards from the apartment. Must have known we were coming.

Or maybe it was Assumption Day. Probably.
