Charlotte Airport

Today is the final day in America as we fly home this evening.

After saying our goodbyes to Ethan's new pal (we only found out at breakfast that he's staying in the same hotel) and the bride and groom, we then did the 2 hour drive from Asheville to Charlotte.

At check-in we were told the flights were delayed, so they moved us to the earlier flight as the delay meant it was leaving just before our original one should have been. However when we tried to get on the plane we were told that despite us having boarding cards, there weren't enough seats for us! So we ended up getting bumped back to the later flight ! It was a tiny plane and I had to sit a few rows away from Brian and Ethan. Meant I got to read a whole magazine though!

Finally made it to New York and then the flight from there to Edinburgh was delayed too, finally leaving at around 11.30pm. Has been a long day!
