MJF57 - Charles Lloyd Performing

Charles Lloyd Quartet playing at the arena on Sunday evening. Lloyd was born in 1938 and is a formally trained musician with a graduate degree and many many years of jazz performances and records. In 1970 he took a break from touring and moved to Big Sur California where he played and communed with the natural settings of that beautiful remote coastal mountain community. He started performing again in 1987 and by 1989 was recording for ECM Records. He plays flute, sax, piano, and composes most of his own music.

His performance was very inspiring.
