~Remembering~

Today I picked Lexi up after school and we went to the park. We walked the beach, threw rocks into the water and then sat in the coffee shop and ate cinnamon rolls and drank hot chocolate.
This park is where I took my boys to all of the childhood. It is located below my parents house. When my Mom died we bought and dedicated a park bench in her name. I often went here and sat and look out into the water. After my son went missing in this very water I couldn't bear going anymore.
I'm not sure why but I now feel comfort sitting here and reflecting on two very important people in my life my Mom and son.
