Fire

I love this original fireplace in our dining room and thought it deserved a photo.

We hardly ever use the dining room (it has become a bit of a dumping ground recently). I was doing a very important job this afternoon of sorting and putting away the Virgin wine order in the dining room cupboard. As I walked past the fire I noticed just how manky it was so then spent an hour cleaning and hoovering it.

Eventually I'd like to change the fire surround and mantelpiece, but will definitely keep all the original parts.

It's back to work for me tomorrow after almost 2 years off. I haven't worked since November 2012 when I went on maternity leave to have Mack.
Tomorrow night's dinner is all made, clothes looked out, lunches prepared. Bring it on!
