Resting Place of Sir John Betjamin
Easy walking today from Daymer Beach to Rock calling in at St Enodoc Church, the burial place of Sir John Betjamin. The church is on the edge of a golf course and lay buried under sand until the mid 1800s. It is a delightfully plain church.
A trip across to Padstow for lunch at Rick Stein's fish and chip cafe, a bit of retail therapy, which included an SD card because JJ came away without one and I reluctantlykindly gave him my spare. I was running out of space and was pleased to pick up another.
Back along the sand dunes from Rock to Daymer Bay and return to base. Glorious weather again.
One of our number has the fly swatter in his hand so naturally they have all cleared off, although having seen him in action they are not in any danger.
